Keep the full marking, photos, dimensions and position information for frequently replaced items. This turns an urgent search into a repeatable maintenance record.

Plan repeat supply around real maintenance

A stable repeat-supply plan can reduce the need for last-minute sourcing. It should be based on actual plant maintenance cycles, known bearing references and approved storage practices—not a promise that every application has the same replacement interval.

For high-use references, confirm the designation and packaging specification once, then review quantities and delivery timing with the maintenance schedule.

Inspect before installation

Incoming inspection is a basic cost-control step. Confirm marking, suffixes, packaging condition and visible transport damage before the machine is open for maintenance. Keep bearings clean and in original packaging until installation.

If a repeat issue occurs, retain the removed bearing and take photographs of seals, shaft and housing surfaces. This helps distinguish a replacement-identification issue from a wider lubrication, fit or contamination condition.
